EZ Test cup is FDA Approved and CLIA Waived assuring you the highest standards. We are confident that you will find that The EZ Test Cup is very reliable and easy to use.
Using you EZ Test Cup is quite easy. You will receive your cups in either a case of 100, box of 25 or a box containing 6 cups. The most import thing to keep in mind is that you must store the cups between 39 degrees and 86 degrees Fahrenheit or 4 degrees and 30 degrees Celsius.
The cups are individually packaged in plastic pouches. It is very important to keep the cup in its plastic pouch until you are ready to use it. We recommend using it within 15 minutes of removing it from the pouch. Removing the cups from the plastic pouches and not using them within 15 minutes may lead to inaccurate results.
When you are ready to collect a sample, remove the cup from the plastic pouch and give it to the person you are testing so they can provide the sample. When you receive the cup, immediately make sure that the lid is on tight to prevent leakage. Then check the temperature on the built-in thermometer. The temperature should be between 94 and 96 degrees Fahrenheit or 34.5 to 35.5 Celsius. The green dot will indicate the temperature. You need to check the temperature within 4 minutes of collecting the sample.
All you have to do now is set a timer for 5 minutes and wait. You can peel away the privacy label and watch the results come in, or wait 5 minutes to see the final results. Results will start to show very quickly but you want to wait a full five minutes before reading the results.
Reading the results is also rather simple. A double red line indicates that the sample is negative for that particular drug which is labeled on the strip. One Red Line on the top level indicates a positive result. No lines or a red line on the bottom level indicate an invalid result. An invalid result is an indication that there is possible tampering with the sample or a defective cup. To ensure an accurate result, give your subject plenty of water and wait a little while until you can collect another sample. It is advisable when collecting the new sample to have someone witness the sample collecting.
It’s really that simple. Collect a sample, wait 5 minutes and read the results.
Thank you for using EZ Test Cup.
